Do I have to pay DDS?
There is no fee to register for placement with Ondonte Dental Staffing. Our client is the doctor and their practice, they pay all fees related to temporary assignments or permanent placements.
How much work will you be able to give me?
There is no definite answer to this question. Currently, we receive between 120 and 150 requests for temporary placement in the Greater East Bay per week. When we receive a request, and if the client has not requested a specific person, we look for all matching candidates who show as available for that day and reach out to them via SMS Text Messaging beginning with the candidate that is closest to the client’s office and then work outward geographically from there. We never know when we are going to receive placement requests, or whether the opportunity will be located within a reasonable commute from your home. The more flexible you are with travel time and availability, the greater the number of assignments you will be eligible for. Make sure to check in with us regarding changes in your availability.
What level of commitment do I have to make to Ondonte Dental Staffing?
Helping you achieve your objectives is a core part of our Mission. During the interview, we will ask you for your availability, the distance and cities you are willing to travel, the positions you are willing to work in, and the rate of pay you would like to earn. We will contact you regarding any opportunities that meet your requirements. The more you tell us about yourself and the more flexible you are, the more positions you may be eligible for. For your part, we expect that you will not work or seek work with one of our clients without our knowledge. Our Clients have agreed to make requests for services exclusively through Ondonte Dental Staffing and to refrain from asking candidates directly. If you should be contacted directly by a client, please let us know and we will confirm your placement with the client. In our Code of Ethics, we discuss in detail such expectations as arriving at an assignment on time and presenting yourself at all times in a professional manner.
Do I have to temp or can I just look for a permanent job?
That is completely up to you. We will assist you in finding whatever type of position you are looking for: temporary, permanent, or both.
How long is my contract valid with DOndonte Dental Staffing?
Your contract is valid for one year from the date that you signed it or one year from the last day we refer you for work, whichever is later. While you are under contract you are required to notify us if any clients contact you regarding working for them.
